Thirsty Energy

  • Providing strategic and technical support to the World Bank’s Thirsty Energy Initiative, which aims to help countries to ensure a sustainable development of their water and energy resources under an uncertain future
  •  Researched and analyzed the energy and water sectors and existing energy and water planning models and policies in several countries, identifying potential conflicts and synergies for water and energy development
  • Participated and coordinated meetings and workshops in South Africa, Morocco and China, worked with the governments and other stakeholders to create an implementation strategy for each case study and provided technical input. Ongoing coordination, participation and technical review of each case study.
  • Presented the Initiative at several conferences, such as UN Water Conference and UN Sustainable Energy for All
